Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and is in a location with a number of other attractions such as safari parks, cultural experiences and golf.
Safari
There are some fantasitc safaris to do around Victoria Falls and Lake Kariba. Some other prized locations are Mana Pools, Matobo and Gonarezhou National Parks. See a great summary here.
Great Zimbabwe
About 4 hours drive south of Harare you can find the remains of a medieval Shona citadel known as Great Zimbabwe. If you leave early, it can be done in a day, but better to spend the night in the city of Masvingo.

Lake Kariba
Lake Kariba is the world’s largest articificial lake by volume, and is a hotspot for locals trying to escape the city. The town of Kariba has a number of lodges and glamp sites, and private villas, and the lake is surrounded by safari parks. If you have the time for a houseboat cruise it is highly recommended.
