September 28th
Arrival Weekend + Bachelorette / Bachelor events

We recommend that guests start to arrive this weekend so that they can get settled in before the beginning of the week. If you need more information about travel, transport, accomodation, food etc please visit the Travel page on this website and/or reach out to the logistics assistant, Faith at +905338423477 on whatsapp.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen need to arive by this date in order to partake in bachelorette/bachelor parties. Bridesmaids and groommen should coordinate with the best man / maids of honour on locations, times and dress codes for the bachelorette/bachelor events.
September 30th
Meet & Greet - 2pm
Stonechat Lane
To kick off the week, there will be a meet and greet lunch to welcome those that have traveled to the country and do informal introductions. No dress code; we will do this potluck style and invite local guests to bring and share. Please coordinate with Krystal or Shia if you need any additional information here.
October 1st
Lantern Release - 4pm
Auntie Virginia Chitanda’s Home
This will be a small, casual ceremony to memorialize the life of Mama, Linda Fatima Lewis Chindori-Chininga and recognize her contributions to the lives of both the bride and groom.
dress code is all white, please coordinate with Venekai or Matii for more information.
October 2nd
Aunties Lunch - 12noon
113 Crowhill Road, Prayer Mountain, Borrowdale, Harare
This is a woman-only event where we invite all women wedding invitees to meet and mingle. It is called the Auntie’s Lunch because there will also be an opportunity for the women that have helped to raise the bride and groom to tell stories and give advice to the bride, as well as welcome her to this new stage of her life.
Dress code is pink, and where failing, purple. For more information on this please reach out to Krystal or Irene Chikaka.
October 3rd
Roora / Tradditional Wedding - 12noon
96 Belford Road, Christon Bank, Harare, Zimbabwe
This is the traditional Shona culture marriage ceremony that is required before any other ceremonies can be recognized. It marks the joining of the two families, the blessing of the ancestors and the process by which the groom’s family offers a token of appreciation.
Dress code is african and/or floral, smart casual. For more information please reach out to Stephanie or Tete Agnes.
Negotiating begins at 8am and only select attendees are required at that time, but the ‘party’/lunch begins at 12noon and all other attendees should arrive at this tume.
October 4th
Wedding Rehearsal - 10am
Siyekhaya Estate
Only the bridesmaids, groomsmen and immediate family will be needed for this. We will go over the wedding procedures, flow, venue and the bridesmaids + groomsmen will rehearse choreography.

White Wedding Marriage |Ceremony & Reception - 12noon

October 5th
This will be the white wedding marriage ceremony more common in the West. A programme of the day will be published by early October. See the ‘October 5th Programme’ page on this website.
Dress code is all black & black tie, please see the ‘Dress Code’ page on this website for further guidance.

October 6th
Post-Wedding Braai - 12pm
Rayden Drive
This will be a very casual, slow pace moment to unwind from the busy week over some braai meat, pool time and sunshine.
Dress code is pyjamas :) or whatever you feel most casual and relaxed in since we will just be kicking back after a long week.

Departure to Victoria Falls - 7am
Airport
Many guests + the bride and groom will be going to Victoria Falls for a week following the wedding. Any and all guests are welcome to join as well.
